• Group leader overseeing performance characteristics of environmentally friendly passenger transport jet to reduce noise by 20dB, fuel burn to 40 lbs/seat, and total operating costs by 10%.
• Created tools and databases in Excel to calculate aircraft sizing, payload, lift and drag coefficients, and maneuver and wing loading constraints. Also helped model the aircraft using Solid Edge.
• Conducted trade studies to evaluate most efficient design points for various airplane sizing, aerodynamics, and propulsion factors.
