    Professional experience

    Project experience

    ·        A400M: Bracket analysis.
A400M stress analysis according to HSB. RFs were obtained for different load cases in order to determine the most critical RF. This task was carried out in Excel (VBA/macros).

    ·        A380: Stress for concessions and non-conformities.
Stress analysis and approval of new design solutions in order to repair damaged structure parts and assemblies in metal and composites. This task included hand calculations and occasionally FE-analysis (Nastran-Patran) and was carried out in direct collaboration with the A380 Primary Structure Airbus Department in Hamburg.

    ·        A320 Research Project: Nonlinear ground dynamics of aircraft.
A Matlab dynamical model was built in order to analyze stable and unstable regions under the variation of certain parameters of interest using the continuation software AUTO 2000. The project was developed in the University of Bristol in collaboration with Airbus UK.

    ·        Nonlinear analysis: Development of Matlab and Excel sheets.
This task was developed to solve nonlinear equations related to structures behaviour and to automate hand calculations in order to justify the results obtained with Patran/Nastran (cutouts, buckling, panel compression, crippling, etc.).

    ·        A330 Freighter: Isolation project, working with CATIA V5 and CADAM CCD.
This project was developed in order to adapt the A330 Pax isolation system to the A330 Freighter.

    ·        A330 Freighter: Check and verification of 3D structures designed in CATIA V5.

    University Projects:

    ·        Design of an aircraft wing including all its components and using real load cases. This task was carried out in Nastran/Patran and included hand calculations in order to verify the results.

    ·        Satellite Primary Structure with composites: Properties analysis and pre-design of different laminates for the primary structure of a satellite. This project was developed at the University of Bristol in collaboration with the Composites Department. The project included hand calculations and results verification besides the software Nastran/Patran.

    ·        Design of a new aircraft platform for Sevilla's airport using the A320 as design model aircraft.
