    Obtained my Ph.D i’m currently continuing my research activity at the University of Pavia. Actually i work in Sensor&MicroSystems (SMS) and Power Electronic laboratories.

    Topics of my activity are:

    – Sensor interface circuit design

    – Energy harvesting solutions

    – Multi-sensor ambient assisted living applications

    – Analog and mixed-signal microelectronic IC design

    The application that i’m realizing is a battery-less intelligent sensor node system in order to analyze environmental parameters.


    2006 - January 2010 Ph.D. Student - University of Pavia

    Research activities in Microelectronics field. Topics of my activity are sensors front-ends and energy harvesting integrated microsystems design. Harvester devices retrieve energy from the external environment and provide it to an electronic system to be supplied. In particular i realized a high precision electronic compass, a current measuring system for portable applications and integrated photovoltaic power conditioning systems. The results i obtained allowed me to win the golden leaf at IEEE

    PRIME 2009 international conference for Ph.D students.
