    WORK EXPERIENCE

2007 Nowadays: Indra Espacio (Barcelona, Spain)

SAR/Galileo System and Simulation Engineer, European Projects of the 6th and 7th framework programs (client: Galileo Joint Undertaking, ESA / European Commission)

    • Implementation under Matlab of reference coordinate system WGS 84 for an end-to-end Search And Rescue simulator.

    • Upgrade and testing of link budget model and SAR payload model in the end-to-end SAR simulator with regard to updated references provided by ESA.

    • Implementation under Matlab of the Galileo Mission Segment traffic model for SAR Return Link Messages.

    • Assessment of the performances achievable by the SAR Forward Link Service through end-to-end simulations. Parameters such as SAR beacons imperfections, signal propagation, payload characteristics and processes at ground leve l were considered.

    • Validation, at system level, of the ground station (MEOLUT) of the SAR Galileo service. Experimentations performed with real signals from GPS satellites (DASS-PoC) as space segment.

    • Definition of the demonstrations and procedures that will be performed between 2011 and 2012 in order to demonstrate the early capability of the Forward Link and Return Link of the SAR/Galileo system with 2 foreseen available SAR/Galileo payloads, combined with DASS-PoC satellites in order to perform locations.

    • Upgrade of the MEOLUT software, developed in C, in order to improve performances on detection and localization.

2005 – 2007: CITI Laboratory of INSA Lyon (Lyon, France)

Radiocommunication engineer, in charge of experimentation radio platform

    • Participation to the conception (under Matlab and ADS) and the development (C code) of the physical layer of a multiple inputs software-defined radio receptor compatible with different standards of the 2.4 GHz (802.11b and 802.11g)

    • In charge of a radio measure platform based on Agilent’s equipments: platform based on ADS models, a complex signals generator and analyzer 0-6 GHz that enable MIMO measures.

    • Testing through coupled simulation-measurements of the multi-antennas receiver model developed under ADS.

    • Validation through measurements of an indoor radio propagation simulator.

2005: CITI Laboratory of INSA Lyon (Lyon, France)

    Trainee

    • Study of indoor characteristics and existing indoor localization methods for a geo-localization system

    • Implementation and testing under Matlab before implementation in C on a prototype.

    2003 – 2004: Expressive Interactive (Niort, France)

    Trainee

    • Conception and development of a Content Management System (CMS) for websites designed in Flash.
