Job Responsibilities for above mentioned companies include RF Survey for the new site installation & checking the TND links (LOS: Line of Sight Clearance) for the proposed site with the help of GPS, Path loss tool, SOI Map and Global Mapper. Preparing the path profile with the help of Radio link tool which helps in calculating the Hop distance from near end site to far end site, tower height, at what height RF Antenna & Microwave antenna is to be placed on the tower.

Currently Working with Essel Shyam Technology Limited as RF Engineer since July 2008. Essel Shyam Communications is a top broadcasting company and is a leading Digital TV Service Provider. Its office in Noida is largest Hub in South Asia catering for the VSAT needs in EXT-C & KU band for the variety of customers. Its premises include the Playout, Compression and Broadcasting facility for 40 DTV channels, on SCPC/MCPC & compression technology being H.264/MPEG4/MPEG2.
Current job responsibilities include looking after the daily operations of RF and PLAYOUT for proper operation and maintenance of uplinking of Digital TV. Responsibilities also include in its domain to integrate, design and commissioning of MpegoIP Networks, Video Streaming Networks, teleport Earth Stations and imparting training to our various customers.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
SYSTEM ENGINEERING:
- Testing of all Baseband Equipments. Providing Assistance to presales department for designing network solutions.
- Identifying prospective clients, mapping their requirements according to RFP’s (Request for Proposal).
- Maintaining sustained contacts for providing Pre/Post technical assistance.
SYSTEM INTEGRATION:
- Understanding the requirements of client based on tender specification.

- RF Chain comprises of equipments from vendors like Xicom, Radyne & Comtech.
- Installation, theodolite alignment for 9.0 Mtr antenna (VERTEX).

- Installation and commissioning of set up for transmitting video over MPLS based networks, which involves coordination with BRITISH TELECOM at the UK end for UTV Movies, 9XM, Punjabi TV & Aastha.

- Installation and aligning various antennas at the Essel Shyam Premises.
