Senior Aerospace Lead Technician–
· Work with, develop, plan, and provides work assignments to lower level employees. Ensure compliance with company policies, practices, procedures and work rules. Resolve issues according to procedures and established guidelines.

Senior Aerospace Technician- 20+ years’s aerospace and space flight technical experience. Active Security Clearance.
· Installation, maintenance and modification of space shuttle orbiter vehicle, extra vehicular activity (EVA) suits and other flight crew equipment
· Installation and testing of cables and wiring, removal of flight crew equipment, installation and removal of flight experiments, maintenance of orbital maneuvering system and forward reaction control system
· Regularly install, remove and test electrical equipment
· Installation and removal of EVA tools. Work with lifting and handling equipment, e.g. cranes, hydraset
· Fuel and chemical ( to include hypergolic ) handling and maintenance
· Experienced in structural bonding, thermal protection system materials, preparation and application of adhesives
· Proficient in safety protocols and hazardous waste removal
· Serve as hazardous waste Point Of Contact (POC.) Maintain process standards
· Travel in support of space shuttle missions and prepare vehicle for transport on Boeing 747
· Utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Relied on to maintain required documentation
· Communicate work steps to appropriate team and management. Install and remove emergency egress slide
· Read and perform instructions from blueprints and engineering drawings

· OSHA and MSDS, Code of Federal Regulations, Florida Administrative Code and Kennedy NASA Procedural Requirements, Work Authorization Documents (WADs)
Audits and inspections:
· EPA and environmental protection audits, weekly inspections
Problem Solving, Decision Making, Organizational and Computer Skills
· Regularly collaborate with NASA astronauts and flight crew to resolve issues
· Hazardous Waste Point Of Contact (POC)
· Operation Standard Panel Member
· Work with engineers on design modifications
· Microsoft Office (Word, Excel Outlook, PowerPoint)
· Designed weight log process / metric for crew module
