    After a past experience of several years in the Oerlikon Contraves (now Rheinmetall) Research and Development Department, in 1998 I became the responsible of the department which managed all the proposals and all the programs in structural and mechanical field for Space applications. At the time being, I’m the responsible of CSV department; the people who belong to this team are devoted to manage programs and proposals in the frame of Space Flight Segment Programs relevant i.e. to launchers interstages, mini and micro satellites, solar panels structures and mechanisms, deployment mechanisms and so on. Our main Customers are the Agencies as ASI , Italian Space Agency and ESA Europe Space Agency and major Companies working in this fileld as Thales Alenia Space, Carlo Gavazzi Space, ELV and AVIO

    2000-2008 Responsible for mechanical and structural programs in Oerlikon Contraves Space division.

    •Agile Program for the development of Agile minisatellite (bus + payload structure) for gamma rays detection including System and Subsystem activities. The satellite has been launched on April 23rd, 2007 and it’s still working with satisfaction of Scientific Community
    •Coarse Pointing device (structure and mechanisms) platform to orientate the inside payload towards the sun in coarse mode First external payload to be mounted on the International Space station Contract with Thales Alenia Space Launched with the Shuttle on 2007 Final Customer ESA Still working
