Co-principle investigator (Co-PI) of the ASI/NASA space shuttle mission experiment MDS (Mouse Drawer System) that was launched in STS-128 on 29 August 2009 and return to Earth in STS-129 on 27 November 2009. This is the 1st long duration life science experiment on orbit with animals.
