Final Project “Real Time Control in Vortex Streets”. Real time control of the direction and magnitude of the thrust of the airfoil. Optimization of propulsive efficiency using Matlab. Construction of NACA aerodynamic profiles.
Configuration of the optical system in order to obtain the velocity vector in each point of the vortex street. Synchronization of the laser pulse with the camera timing.
Analysis of the structure of the vortex streets with different Strouhal numbers, flapping frequency, flapping amplitude and upstream velocity.
