The company has a partnership agreement with Deltek and uses Cobra version 5.1 to provide Project Management and Programme Management Office support services. My current assignment is a £20 million investment to develop a new product and set up the subsequent production capability. This involves monitoring the performance of 18 sub contracted organisations and providing reliable forecasts of cost and schedule outcomes, using earned value techniques to enable the investors to manage the commercial and technical risk.

Mantix Limited provided Earned Value Management based Project/Portfolio/Resource Management Software and supporting Management Consultancy services and has since been acquired by Atkins Consulting. I joined as a Management Consultant and took on the role of Vice President of North American Operations in early 1999. Clients included Ericsson Telecommunications, Astra Pharmaceuticals, The Post Office, Her Majesties Revenue & Customs, Northrop Grumman and Evans & Sutherland.

During this period I was responsible for implementing the programme management system for the design and build of the European contribution to the Space Station currently in orbit, reporting to Dieter Von Eckerstien at ESTEC in Noordwijk.
Clients included, ESA (European Space Agency) and the ESA main contractors on the Space Station Programme around Europe (British Aerospace (UK); Matra (F); MBB ERNO (G); Selania (I)),. Other clients included NASA and Nuclear Electric.
