                                               Title: ‘A software-hardware platform for the study of complex dynamics based on FPGA and ACE16K board’.

                                              

                                   Description:  The work has been realized using a platform based on a FPGA board, for the access to the ACE16K chip (a processor able to put together, into a single architecture, the potentiality of the analogical and parallel processing, typical of the CNN, and the versatility of the digital system.

    Objective: realizing the lower level control of the CNN (Cellular Nonlinear Network) ACE16K chip, exalting the chip performance, simplifying the execution of some operations, such as program-memory writing or reading, image loading e downloading from and to a PC, image acquisition through the optical device integrated into the chip.

    Using two web-cams, the robot acquires images from two different points. It processes and transfers them for the motor control motion.
