    Designed and implemented a new generalized Spacecraft Trajectory Optimization software tool, named Copernicus, that allows the user to solve for optimal transfer trajectories in ephemeris and user-defined gravity models. Copernicus is currently being used by NASA-Johnson Space Center in designing the Return to the Moon mission.

    Assistant Instructor for Space Application Laboratory, January 2008 - May 2008
    Was solely responsible for preparing and delivering lectures on numerical techniques in Orbital Mechanics. Students were taught how to use Matlab and STK, along with other necessary programming skills and techniques needed to solve real orbital mechanics problems.

    Held several teaching assistant positions, including Spacecraft Dynamics, Advanced Orbital Mechanics and Statics. Held weekly discussion sessions for students; assisted them with their work Assignments and research projects.
