    EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

    Feb. 2007 - present

    SOGETI NEDERLAND B.V.

    Position:

    Test coordinator / Functional designer

In Dec 2007 my responsibilities were increased and I became Test coordinator for the project. As new responsibilities I had to lead and instruct one tester for the new campaigns as well as take care of the test environments.

In March 2008 the test manager left for another project delegating all his responsibilities on me. By this I had to prepare, manage and execute the new campaign which involved a change in one of the interfaces. Under my new responsibilities I had to write the test plan, final test report and weekly reports which included cost analysis, risk analysis and test environments management.

During this time two more clients started to use the Eclips chain of applications so on top of the test coordinator responsibilities I had to give support and advice for the correct design of the services.

    Position:

Senior Test engineer / Functional designer

After the first new release new applications came in to join Eclips so the chain test grew in its complexity requesting much more effort and study than before. Also at this time my implication in the project was enhanced with responsibilities as functional designer and reviewer.

    Position:

    Test engineer

After my formation period in the Netherlands I was recruited by the dutch brand of Sogeti (Sogeti Nederland B.V.) to continue my work in KPN Telecom B.V. as the tester responsible of the definition and execution of the tests for the new releases of the application Eclips and its correct implementation in the chain which provides VoIP services for KPN clients.

During this period of time I increased my knowledge over all the TMAP® techniques as well as I learnt how to interact with all the people involved in an I.T. project. I had to talk often with software architects, designers, builders, testers, people from application maintenance and project leaders. This gave me a broad view of all the parties involved in a project.

    Sep. 2006 – Feb. 2007

    SOGETI Spain

    Position:

    Test engineer

In 2006 I was recruited by Sogeti Spain to be part of a team of people with the objective of giving an impulse to the I.T. test business in Spain. To fulfil this, I joined the Dutch brand of Sogeti (Sogeti Nederland B.V.) for becoming a TMAP® professional. In order to accomplish this I followed a course of two months to learn how to prepare, manage and execute test projects for the I.T. businesses using TMAP® approach.

First month was a stay in the OHIO University Without Boundaries (Business course) with the focus on High Performance Teaming and business training: Effectiveness in teaming situations, Better decision-making, Fast lead-in times on project launches, Improve feedback process, Focus on topic, Time Management, Efficient Research/ Fewer Assumptions.

The second month was in The Netherlands with TMAP® (Test Management Approach) course:

Test specification techniques: Algorithm test, Decision tables technique, Data flow test, Elementary comparisons test, Error guessing, Data cycle test, Process cycle test, Program interface test, Semantic test en Syntactic test

      Data model definition

      Process analysis

      SQL (ORACLE)

      Design in Testing

      QA with QMAP

      Automatic testing

After the learning phase and in order to complete my formation period I stayed working in the Netherlands for KPN Telecom which is the biggest telecom company in the Netherlands. I began as junior tester in a team of four people (One senior tester, two junior testers and the test manager from KPN) and with the task of executing the tests needed to test the Eclips application. This application is meant to provision voice over IP accounts to KPN clients.

After two months in KPN telecom two members from the team left so I was left in charge of defining, managing and executing the tests and with the supervision of the test manager.

Eclips 0.71 was successfully tested and went into production on time.

    Jan. 2004 - Jan 2006

European Space Agency (ESA) –ESTEC, Noordwijk, The Netherlands

    Position:

    Aerospace Engineer

In January 2004 I was awarded with a grant of the Spanish government to work for the European Space Agency during two years as Aerospace engineer in the Guidance, Navigation and Control division under the supervision of Dr. Guillermo Ortega. My responsibilities were to give support to all the projects in the division. In order to give this support I had to apply all what I learnt in my career and I had to read and study a lot of technical notes, articles and specialized books.

One part of my support during these two years was dedicate to main ESA projects:

--- ATV(Automated Transfer Vehicle). Analysis of the approaching trajectories to the ISS (International Space Station)

--- EXPERT. Trajectories and controllability study and design of a attitude control system

--- ConeXpress. Analysis of the GTO orbit and Rendezvous strategy

Also I was assigned to the CDF (Concurrent Design Facility) to give GNC support to the following studies:

--- Mars Demolander 1 and 2. Projects for testing technologies for future missions to Mars like MSR (Mars Sample Return), Exomars or HMM (Human Mars Mission).

--- VEGA 1 Payload. Study to define a low cost S/C to perform a flight demonstration of the Vega launcher P/L requirements.

--- HMM ((Human Mars Mission). Analysis of the aerocapture manoeuvre.

Another important part of my support was given to ESA Research and Development studies like :

--- European Mars Climate Database. Design and software development of the user interface for the calculation of the atmospheric variables all along a complete trajectory of entry at Mars. Implementation in a simulink block for simulation purposes and translation of the Fortran code to C++ code for autocoding

--- CAV (Crew Ascent Vehicle). Trajectory + Control engineer for the feasibility analysis including a deep study of NASA Space Shuttle and the actual state of the rocket engines technology

As other responsibilities and tasks not specifically related with any project I was in charge of:

--- Stk (Orbit analysis software): Analysis of ISS (International Space Station) orbit decay, Detailed study of elliptical rendezvous, Design of a coverage scenario for VEGA 1 Payload and the CAV (Crew Ascent Vehicle) scenarios including ascent and coast arc.

--- Design and software development of attitude sensors models using Matlab and Simulink.

---  Design of circular rendezvous strategies for soft docking.

Finally my duties included the test of new applications developed by industry as well as the assistance on its design. Some of the tools where:

--- LAREDO(GMV). Elliptical and Circular Rendezvous.

--- FocusUES (GMV). Entry, Descent and Landing.
