    1. PRWONAM (Prediction of Regional Weather using Observational Meso-Network and Atmospheric Modelling) project (ISRO-IGBP Project).

    Developed application software using ENVI-IDL for generating land surface parameters such as Vegetation fraction, Land use/Land cover (using Erdas Imagine 9.1), Albedo (using Erdas Imagine 9.1).

     

    2. Atmospheric correction for hyper-spectral image (HYPERION EO-1).

    Evaluate and compare the spectral profiles generated by using atmospheric correction models likes FLAASH, ATCOR, with ground-based observation using Analytical Spectral Device (ASD).

    3. Developed ENVI IDL based application software for satellite-derived datasets.

    Generating a high quality NDVI time series yearly data set for the India region, based on Savitzky-Golay filter, using SPOT VGT 10-day datasets, for the years (1998-2007).

     

    4. Developed ENVI IDL based Runoff-Model for INDIA using IMD & CPC rainfall multi- year daily datasets.

     

    5. Summation of CPC Southern Asia daily Rainfall datasets for each month from May 2001 to Dec 2006.

     

    6. Reading ASCII file of CRU EA multiyear monthly weather file according to the year wise and grid wise and converting it into image file (1901-2002).

     

    7. Implementation and development of Second Simulation of the Satellite Signal in the Solar Spectrum (6S) code for atmospheric correction for different sensors using FORTRAN compiler.

     

    8. Developed ENVI IDL based application software for Markov Random Field theory for Modelling Spatio-Temporal Pattern of Drought.

     

    9. Implementation and Development of FASIR (Fourier-Adjusted, Sensor and Solar zenith angle corrected, Interpolated, Reconstructed) methodology for SPOT VGT NDVI datasets for India region using ENVI-IDL software. 

     

    10. Developed customize package for Satellite Image processing in Java programming language during six-month project work (Jan-Jun, 2004).
