I did Case study on GLAST (Gamma-ray Large Area Space Telescope) with particular emphasis on LAT (Large Area Space Telescope) its main instrument for studying high-energy gamma-ray physics.  Studied in detail about the LAT’s subsystems, their principles and functions, radiation effects on onboard electronics, made a critical review of the instruments and the future of electronics could be used for space instruments.

During three years of my BSc (Physics) many practical’s and lab works are done in the wider areas (above mentioned modules) of Physics. Results of greater accuracy and good presentation and submission in time fetched me over 80% aggregate.

Attended many physics symposiums (all three years) with scientists and professor’s from reputed institutes like IIS (Indian Institute of Sciences), IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), IIMS (Indian Institute of Mathematical Sciences) organized by our physics department discussing about current and future research work in physics, only top five students of the class are invited during my under-graduate studies.

Attended the New Navigator seminar conducted my Royal Institute of Navigation at imperial college London that helped me learning and understanding the latest space technologies and also the future areas of research.

Sound ability in using Matlab and Simulink for simulation, testing and verifying of systems/algorithms

I simulated communication systems behaviour and tested and verified various algorithms using Matlab and Simulink.

Designing digital filter, Generating various signals, checking system characteristics and implementing various signal processing techniques using Matlab Signal Processing Toolkit and Image Processing.

Strong knowledge in Space Systems

In areas such as space vehicle design and materials, power systems, propulsion systems (multi-stage rockets principles and designs and other propulsion systems), orbital mechanics and other space Applications.

I scored 80% in Advanced Space Systems module

Great material was covered in my studies in addition to extra reading to satisfy my personal interest.

A technical report detailing the methodology and the outcome was submitted for each undertaken assignment and project

Worked (part-time) for Marks and Spencer, UK as a coach and supervisor that involves in training and managing people the shop floor and lead the team by example during the course of my study in UK.

Represented the College badminton team of Sussex University (UK) finishing second in the league and star player of the team 2007-2008, Brighton Bats Club (UK) first in the league, Wimbledon Racquets club (UK), R.K.M College (University of Madras) champion 2003-2004 and lead the Department of Physics 2003-2004 finishing second in the table and currently playing for Fireball Club, Chennai, India

Playing Sports and also an active sports fan and follow the teams i support regularly. Craze of music, travelling (travelled most of India by the age of 16), watching movies, documentaries, love adventures sports such as trekking, hiking, cycling etc. Enjoy reading books such as biography of great people who excelled in their respective fields and getting inspiration.  Surfing the Internet to get more knowledge of things happening.
