WORK EXPERIENCE

June to September 2006: VEGA Group PLC - Engineering Support to AIVP

I worked at VEGA, as part of the AIVP (assembly, integration and validation platform) team, including writing my MSc thesis. The topic of the thesis was: Investigating the uplink schedule for the Galileo Navigation Satellite System. The aim of the thesis was to produce and validate uplink schedules for Galileo. To do this I created a program in MATLAB which read in ephemeris of the constellation and the locations uplink stations, determined the possible satellite to uplink station connections and then outputted an uplink schedule.
