Experiences
Project : Implementation of VHDL Based Centralized PCM Encoder.
Team Size : 5
Duration : Jan’07 to March’07
Responsibilities : In Rohini Sounding Rocket there was distributed PCM Encoder, which was taking input as analog & digital data. There was needed to make it centralized, so that a lot of wires connections can be removed. Therefore we made it centralized and added provision for GPS data also. My responsibilities were to make provision for GPS data.
Project : Development of RAST (RDB Automated Search Tool).
The tool is successfully used for verification of Data files w.r.t RDB (Real Time Database). The front-end used for the tool was Visual Basic 6 and Backend was MS Access.

Project : IRNSS (Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System) Payload System Engineering.

Responsibilities : Major responsibilities are as follows:
- Study & finalization of the IRNSS payload configuration options to provide required services.
- Comparative study of the Global Positioning System (GPS) with IRNSS in terms of clock configuration, data formats, frequency spectrum.
- IRNSS Link Budget Analysis
- Link Budget Calculation for various options of IRNSS Payload configuration
- BOC and BPSK Signal (IRNSS Signal) in S Band and L5.
- Worst case distance calculation for N-GSO satellites with 15 deg elevation angle mask.
- EIRP, Transponder Signal Levels and G/T estimation were worked out for IRNSS payload.
- Presently working on development of Navigation Signal Generation Unit(NSGU) for IRNSS.
Others :Verification of data files w.r.t RDB (Real time Database) for PSLV-C8, GSLV F04 & PSLV-C10.
Code Inspection of Different consoles of PSLV-C8, GSLV F04 & PSLV-C10 for different consoles.
Absolute Delay measurement of the complete payload subsystems for L-band and C-band using SATRE Modem
B.Tech Project
Project : Hardware implementation of FSK MODEM.
Duration : May’06 to Jun’06
Responsibilities : Design of FSK Modulator to modulate digital data & design of FSK Demodulator to retrieve original data.
