Inspected, tested, adjusted, and repaired radar, radio, pulse, navigation, auto pilot, and compass systems in aircraft.  Inspected components of avionics equipment for defects, such as loose connections and frayed wire, and for accuracy of assembly and installation.  Tested avionics equipment using oscilloscopes, digital meters, and circuit analyzers under simulated or actual operating conditions to determine performance and airworthiness.  Adjusted, repaired, or replaced defective components based on analysis of test results following blueprints, schematics, handbooks, and other technical documents using hand tools.  Calibrated, installed, or repaired equipment to prescribed specifications.

F-22 Specialist Section Chief

Led, supervised, and trained 60 maintainers in three separate career fields maintaining 24 F-22 aircraft worth $2.5 Billion.  Served as technical authority and advisor for maintenance (Mx) production.  Enforced strict adherence to technical data and management procedures.  Ensured personnel followed procedures for identifying repeat/recur discrepancies.  Established work center safety programs.  Reviewed pilot reported discrepancies for proper Mx actions.  Ensured the Integrated Mx Information System was accurately documented.  Performed production and supervisory inspections.  Monitored, tracked, and ensured occupational safety, fire prevention, and environmental health requirements were met.  Inspected and certified safety of flight discrepancies.  Enforced safe work habits in accordance with Air Force publications.

Developed / conducted aircraft maintenance training in support of the 325th Fighter Wing’s 78 F-15 aircraft.  Instructor of system theory, operation, troubleshooting analysis, and component removal/installation.  Analyzed, developed, and maintained instructional materials for tactical aircraft maintenance system courses.  Wrote and developed plans of instruction, written exercises, and maintained lesson plans for three courses.  Evaluated students for course completion of rigid Community College of the Air Force standards.  Applied instructional system development; developed, reviewed, and coordinated vital course documents.  Maintained and operated $1.8M worth of aircraft trainers and composite tool kits.  Ensured technical orders, training aides, and lesson materials were accurate and relevant to F-15 avionics course of instruction.  Security Manager for the Detachments F-15 and F-22 Maintenance Programs.

Liaison between the 325th Operations Group and the three flying squadrons’ avionics maintenance work centers.  Performed special, periodic, and avionic systems process verification inspections on 78 assigned F-15 aircraft.  Performed personnel evaluations on supervisory and individual maintenance actions and evaluated report data to detect improvement areas and negative trend analysis.  Provided cross tell information to squadron work centers.  Conducted aircraft incident and special studies investigations.  Authored and coordinated one-time inspection requirements and conducted initial validation of Time Compliance Technical Orders.  Performed functional management inspections and conducted on-sight training for the operations group maintenance functions.  ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Time Compliance Technical Order Manager, One Time Inspection Program Manager, and Aircraft Structural Integrity Program Manager.
