OBJECTIVE:

To work as a member of a team of space professionals/technicians, applying knowledge of space operations principles, performing complex tasks with analytical skills, to test, troubleshoot and resolve space and ground system related situations.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

2005 – PRESENT: Radio and Laser Positioning Systems Technician

·         Organizations lead instructor tasked with keeping satellite operators mission ready, proficient in command and control, anomaly detection and resolution; operating the MILSTAR Satellite Constellation

·         Directed and supervised a training staff in the administration of technical qualification training on operation of the $31 Billion MILSTAR Satellite constellation

·         Generated and prepared the organizations training section response to the command level Operational Readiness Inspection, (ORI); achieving the highest possible rating, Outstanding

·         Elevated crew competence, and reduced the incidence of satellite operator errors by 65% through creation of a curriculum and metrics geared toward identification and training of areas of operational weakness

·         Received Air Force Space Commands’ highest accolade, the Crew Excellence award, for achieving five consecutive annual highly qualified satellite systems operator evaluations

·         Developed scenarios, study guides and job performance requirements of over 30 personnel to maintain knowledge on the latest operational procedures on a monthly basis with a zero failure rate using high-tech Lockheed Martin Corp. computer emulators & simulators

·         Identified and resolved satellite anomalies working directly with Lockheed Engineers, and payload specialists

·         Planned and performed satellite contact and commanding during daily operations, providing on-orbit telemetry, tracking and commanding for the MILSTAR satellite

1997 – 2000: Aircraft Communication and Navigation Systems Journeyman

·         Troubleshot and repaired avionics communication and navigation systems, aircraft components, and associated support equipment (C-130)

·          Diagnosed maintenance problems using layout drawings, schematics, logic and pictorial diagrams.

·          Analyzed data received from testing and troubleshooting procedures to determine necessary repairs

·          Removed, maintained, modified and inspected communication and navigation systems. Removed faulty line replaceable units. Inspected line replaceable unit operation to determine scope of repairs required. Disassembled, repaired, performed alignment and reassembled replaceable units

1991 –1997: Aircraft Electrical and Environmental Systems Journeyman

·         Troubleshot, inspected, removed, installed, repaired, modified, overhauled and operated aircraft electrical and environmental systems and associated support equipment
