Oversaw maintenance and operation of over 10 million dollars worth of DSCS satellite communications systems and equipment. Prioritized maintenance tasks and logged all repairs into a database, followed government safety compliance codes. Trained and supervised new personnel on equipment operations and safety procedures including the proper use and storage of hazardous materials and RF radiation precautions; followed regulations to ensure operational effectiveness.
