            Responsibilities

·         Calculate satellite link budgets for Agila2 carriers.

·         Manage Agila2 transponder capacity.

·         Assist our NOC group in providing technical support to our customers.

·         Design, install and commission VSAT solutions for various client requirements.

·         Install and commission satellite uplink stations for video transmission.

 

            Projects/Accomplishments

·         Member of the team that is putting up a DTH project which is scheduled for soft launch before Q4 of 2008.

·         Commissioned video uplinks and turnarounds for various satellite broadcast events.

·         Designed and commissioned serveral IP VSAT solutions for our clients.

            Responsibilities:

·         Work with a team of four (4) satellite engineers in ensuring the good health of Agila2 satellite.

·         In charge of the power, spacecraft control electronics and TT&C subsystems of Agila2.

·         Commanded Agila2 satellite into proper in-orbit configuration for optimized mission performance and for resolving in-orbit emergencies.

·         Simulate recovery procedures for possible satellite contingencies.

·         Perform satellite EW and NS maneuvers.

·         Engage in a technical correspondence with the satellite manufacturer on issues that cannot be resolved by the team.

·         Conduct trainings for satellite controllers.

 

Projects/Accomplishments:

·         Formulated new procedures for identifying and verifying circuit failures on Agila2’s solar array.

·         Fine-tuned Agila2’s manual battery charging computation.

·         Developed a more accurate procedure of determining Agila2’s solar array position.

·         Authored calculation tools and command scripts for all Agila2 power related contingency recovery procedures.

·         Wrote a program for generating Agila2 command scripts using Excel VBA.

·         Wrote a program for Agila2’s thermal memory display using C-language with GUI interface.
