The main projects handled inside the division are related to Earth Observation (COSMO SkyMed) and Navigation (Egnos, Galileo).

Project Manager. Involved as Project Manager of the IRIDIUM System “Gateway Operation and Maintenance Center (OMC-G)”. He was the responsible for Telespazio System Engineering and Acceptance Test activities. He coordinates the sub contractor development activities.
Senior Engineer, Involved in the Iridium System in the System Engineering area, during this period he acquired a good knowledge of all the Iridium System with particular attention to the Gateway Management System (GMS), the Gateway Billing System (GBS), the OMC-G features, the interfaces between the GMS and the GBS, and between the GMS and the Satellite Control System (SCS).

System Engineering Responsible. Senior engineer in the project for the realization of a Digital Video Broadcasting System according to DVB standard.
Senior Engineer, Involved in the analysis and design of the VIASAT System. VIASAT is a new satellite vehicle security and location system. A small terminal in the vehicle permits immediate location of the vehicle and connection with the Operations Center for any type of request for assistance. The system is built around the two-way communicator, designed to guarantee the maximum possible solidity to the link. The main route is a cellular link (ETACS, GSM are available) with roaming over a satellite LEO (low earth orbit) constellation (ORBCOMM is available). The GPS constellation permits the localization of the vehicle.
 
System Engineering Responsible. Responsible for the System Engineering team for Telespazio activities in the WORLDVIEW project. This earth observation system was based on a Headquarters in USA and many Continental Gateways worldwide distributed.
 
Project Manager. Project Leader for the Development of the Centralized Station Services (CSS) system in the framework of the realization of the ERS-1 Italian Product and Archiving Facility.
 
System Engineer. Senior Engineer in the ERS-1 Italian Product and Archiving Facility system engineering area where he participated in Standard Preparation, Requirement Definition, System Architecture Definition, Test and Integration activities.
 
Project Manager. Project Manager for the development of the software system "Gestion Production” in the framework of the HELIOS program. The HELIOS Project was a military project managed by Matra Espace with the involvement of Italy, France and Spain.
 
Quality Assurance Responsible. In the Itaco company he was also the Quality Assurance Responsible. He participated in the process to certify the company respect to ISO 9000 regulation.
