Main subjects include Space Systems Engineering, Astrodynamics and Mission Analysis, Space Propulsion, Space Communication, Classical Control Engineering, Multivariable control for Aerospace applications, Spacecraft Attitude Dynamics and Spacecraft Operations

Group Design Project:  ‘Space Tug Satellite’

The purpose of the project is to design a spacecraft to act as a space tug able to rendezvous with disabled spacecraft in the geosynchronous orbit and either provides a replacement for the failed sub-system or re-orbit the disabled satellite to a safe disposal orbit and thus contribute significantly to the better use of space resources. Working within a team of eleven, I am primarily involved in the requirement analysis and evaluation for the mission and designing the Vision System for rendezvous and docking and on-orbit spacecraft inspection.

Individual Research Project: ‘CubeSat’ AOCS design

The project is part of the Cranfield university initiative for detailed studies of a future CubeSat mission for research and technology demonstration. A CubeSat is a small satellite with a mass of 1 kg and roughly 10 cm cube. My responsibility is to design and development of the attitude determination hardware and the control system, also interacting with other subsystems to baseline the AOCS subsystem requirement.
