WORK EXPERIENCE

Current             Airbus Operations S.L.

Supply Chain Logistics & Transport Engineer – TTPL

The main task I am concerned with is Project Management; I command 6 different        projects, most of which are transnational as the CoE is in close contact with Airbus Central in Toulouse and also the Stade (Germany) plant. The type of projects I am implementing are related with tool deployments (eSC, FNA), process mapping (Plan & Schedule Production, Global Pre-Supply) and general lean improvements (benchmarking, visual management, problem solving). This position requires thoroughly developed interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work as part of a multicultural team.

Summer 2007               Firth Rixson Forgings Meadowhall

Trainee Metallurgist

During my placement, I developed a professional attitude by keeping to a timetable of events. Moreover, I improved my communication skills both due to the responsibility of my position and the need of reporting back to my supervisors. Furthermore, I did gain a further commercial awareness of the steel industry by getting to know more about the company, its suppliers and the processes, especially of the Aerospace industry. Moreover, I also improved my report writing skills as well as my interpersonal skills as I had to deal with several sections within the company.
