In my two weeks of work experience I handled postal orders for the first week and arranged files in their correct forms, and for my second week I was involved in accompanying firms and solicitors in handling paper work for their cases.

Personnel Profile

I am a highly motivated, ambitious, person who likes to succeed.  I have developed an analytical mind through the various projects undertaken either, as part of a team or on my own.  During the course I have obtained skills in Visual Basic programming, project planning, teamwork and enhanced my creative ability to think.  From a very early age I have enjoyed Mathematics and over my years of study, I have developed a keen interest in the subject.  I would like to pursue a career in this field, as I believe I have the capability to sustain and present challenging results.  I am a confident person who can relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.  I am fluent in Punjabi, my mother tongue.

Academic and Social:

• I was a member of my school council meeting and acted as a form representative.
• I represented my schools sports team in basketball, football, athletics and cricket.
• As part of my A-Level chemistry I travelled to many lectures at the University of Birmingham, where I learned the skills in making lecture notes and also build upon my existing knowledge.
• I am now preparing for a football tournament in the near future, and have the responsibility as Captain to lead my team to victory, again escalating my leadership and team skills.  
• I am presently learning Japanese, as this interest may help me in the future.

Charity Fund Raising Experience:

I was recently involved in performing a charity fund raising show, where I was able to display my talents as a singer and dancer.  I have also taken part in many events such as football and sponsored walks for charities, such as the Sickle Cell Anaemia charity, and Apna Ghar Ashram.
