- Modeled the atmosphere of the Jovian moon Europa for use in planning future missions
- Created one and two dimensional models of the atmosphere using Monte Carlo simulations written in Matlab and Java
- Tested the models using simpler models and analytical calculations
- Investigated the moons' interaction with Jupiter's magnetosphere using plasma physics
- Wrote four grant proposals and gave presentations on the models
