Jul.2001- Nov.2004 Electrical Ground Support Lead Engineer (EGSE)

Responsibilities: complete technical management, cooperation with other institutes and development of the Electrical Ground Support Equipments (EGSE), one for the "Low Frequency Instrument" (LFI) and another for the "Photoconductor Array Camera and Spectrometer" (PACS) of the Herschel-Planck Mission.
· REBA EGSE (Planck Satellite, LFI) for OBSW V1 key delivery to the European Space Agency (November 2004).
· PACS EGSE (Herschel Satellite); used in order to inspect critical functional items of the PACS EM and avionic model before ESA consortium delivery. (2003 and 2004 respectively)
This role involved release deliverables according to the ECSS standards: (System Specifications, Architectural Design, User Manual, etc.) and effectively coordinated the work of all players involved in the EGSE development, thanks to my ability to express and present complex ideas and concepts to multicultural and heterogeneous teams.
Other:
· Supervision and pro-active contributed to identify problem areas of the Rutherford Appleton Laboratories’ satellite simulator development.
· Active participated at several milestone meetings with other Institutes of the consortium, pointing out the CAPTEC's external quality audit meeting at IAC Headquarters.
