      * Program Manager for USDA Remote Sensing Laboratory’s RFID-based document tracking system.  This multiple phase project included vendor research and qualification phase, implementation, installation, integration, acceptance testing, user training, and project closeout.  Brought CSC Corporate RFID consulting group’s expertise to bear on immediate customer need to reliably track location of over 300,000 highly valuable and irreplaceable documents in 3 US locations.  Implementation team included 6-9 resources and one subcontractor over an 8 month period at a cost of ~$500,000. CTO accepted all design recommendations without change.  Represented team at industry trade show, proposal Q&A and customer briefings.

      * Authored whitepaper on CORBA and Enterprise Java Bean (EJB) wrapper for Intelligent Library System.  Principal Investigator and Project Team Leader for Internal Research and Development project.

    Aerospace Engineer responsible for mission design and analysis including software development for several spacecraft programs.

      * Developed mission-critical software used for successful near real-time transfer orbit targeting of the TOS/ACTS mission.  This involved combining the operation of C and FORTRAN code and modem data transfer software under control of a master UNIX shell script operating over a Local Area Network.  Installed and operated software in the Payload Operations Control Center.
      * Modified 3 and 6 degree-of-freedom Program to Optimize Simulated Trajectories (POST) for additional coordinate systems, steering methods and mean orbital element calculations. Integrated control system FORTRAN emulations into 6D-POST; included IMU sensor, spring separation system, hydrazine blowdown reaction control system and gimbaled nozzle thrust vector control system models; verified and tested code.
      * Authored Mission Data Book which compiles mission requirements, timelines, dispersion data and vehicle capabilities from various disciplines including Propulsion, GN&C, Thermal Control, Communications, Structures, Dynamics and Mass Properties thereby bringing configuration control to the program.
