CURRENT POSITION

		At Europe's Spaceport (Centre Spatial Guyanais, Guyana Space Centre), Project Manager of Ariane 5 contracts concerning the Maintenance & Exploitation activities between Vitrociset and Arianespace/CNES. Furthermore, software configuration management technical & industrial officer in the Control Command Systems area for the Ariane 5 launcher ("MEX-SCC" activity for Arianespace). Managing Responsibilities: a.        Planning and management of assigned projects, allocating and monitoring budget and resources, minimizing risk throughout the lifetime of the project(s), reporting on cost/technical deviations from planning; b.       Monitoring of assigned contracts with respect to cost/budget, monitoring the progress of the project and managing/updating of related information systems; c.         Evaluating of contractors' performance, administrative control (in particular invoicing, payments, industrial return) and technical direction of designated activities, including evolution possibilities; d.       Preparation of the relevant documentation for periodical Financial and Technical Balance with the Customer together with the industrial group; participation in contract changes/negotiations; e.        Industrial representative and contractual interface with the Customer. Technical Responsibilities: a.        Development and maintenance of the configuration, update of the configuration structure, generating operational software configurations for all the systems impacted during a Launch Campaign; b.       Participating in all meetings and conferences in which project phases are involved, especially during a Launch preparation; c.         Proposing, developing and coordinating Change Proposals, technical studies and implementing changes on all impacted items (configuration elements, related documentation, logistics references); d.       Preparing and updating technical specifications, procedures, technical documentation applicable and other related documents, with reference to specific contractual requirements.

WORKING EXPERIENCE

• From December 2003 to January 2005		Vitrociset S.p.A., z.i. Macchiareddu, Cagliari (Italy).
		NHTDC (NATO HAWK Technical and Documentation Centre).
		System engineer.
		System engineer at the NATO Hawk Technical and Documentation Centre (NHTDC) activity, Macchiareddu (Cagliari, Sardinia). Logistic support service including the management of the NHTDC Technical and Documentation Centre, the NAMSA/HLM Centre of Engineering, and Configuration Management and HAWK Documentation Services for all the NATO nations.   Technical maintenance and configuration management of the HAWK systems, including antennas testing, functional and logistic support analysis.   Technical Responsibilities:   -        Developing Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), including design and preparation of prototypes as required; implementing Engineering Changes (EC);   -        Preparing technical specifications, Statements of Work (SoW), documents required to implement agreed logistics support activity and updating of HAWK technical manuals;   -        Conducting and/or coordinating technical studies, analyse and performing of Unsatisfactory Equipment Reports (UERs);   -        Participating in equipment surveys and tests in the field;   -        Participating in periodical meetings and conferences with the Customer (NAMSA/HLM).

EDUCATION

		Degree in Electronic Engineering, specialization in Telecommunication Systems. Thesis title: “A new algorithm for pictures reconstruction in the DCT domain”, note 101/110.
		Theory and project of the Electronics / Microelectronics’ systems, data processing & software implementation (in particular for telecommunications) and Automation. During the thesis, realization and results test of a software (C language) for the reconstruction of damaged Jpeg-based pictures.

Besides the experience in French Guyana, frequent journeys in UK (London), France (Paris), Austria (Wien) and Italy also for personal interests and to improve my knowledge of foreign languages.

Computer skills

Very good knowledge of all Windows systems (XP, 2000, NT, 9x), good knowledge of Linux / Unix platforms and VAX / VMS systems. Programming in C language and Turbo Pascal; experiences of coding in C++ and Visual Basic. Perfect knowledge of MS Office programs (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint...), use of the main Database (Oracle, Access, SQL) and the main network protocols (TCP/IP…).
