    Antenna/Servo Control and LNA Sub System

     

    o         RCU of DCPA  system of Antenna for smooth tacking operation and remedial adjustment of SCRs firing angle as and when found abnormal.

    o         RCU of DCPA type Antenna Controller (with D.C Motors as the main servo) and auxiliary 3 Phase A.C. Synchronous motors (as stand bi servo) for smooth tracking operation .

    o         RCU of Antenna controller units and A.C. motors which drives the antenna through A.C. motors.

    o         Worked with the team for Retrofit of Antenna Feed System.

    o         Low Noise Amplifier sub systems O & M.

    o         Proper pressurisation of FEED assembly to avoid accumulation of moisture inside the feed which can cause water load and hence increase in VSWR can cause damage to equipments.

    o         Stowing the antenna during gusty wind to avoid high wind pressure on antenna or during maintenance purpose after restoration of circuit through other media.

    o         Restoration of services through other antenna through Intelsat and other satellite by switching the RF to required position.

    o          

    High Power Amplifier

     

    o         Routine check up and preventive and corrective maintenance of C-Band and Ku band TWT and Klystron High Power Amplifier of NEC, CPI and Varian make at every 6 months interval.

    o         Trouble shooting and operation maintenance during break down of HPAs

    o         Rotation of spare TWTs and Klystron tube by putting the same in circuit for 24 hours during preventive maintenance to enhance the life of TWTA and Klystron as per recommendation of manufacturer.

    o         Keeping daily record of TWT and Klystron HPAs parameters like 3 phase A.C. power, Forward power, Reflected power, VSWR, Helix Current, Helix Voltage, Collector Voltage Collector Current etc through operational staff.

    o         Air flow blower functioning and temperature maintaining to avoid hardship to equipment.

    o         Daily EIRP check and recording of same to confirm the output stability of HPAs are within spec and they do not radiate the higher power then benchmark assign by Intelsat, Thaicom, etc, else it will cause interference to others as well as transponder saturation.

     

    UP-Converter, Down Converters

     

    o         RCU of Up-Down converters of STS, EFDATA, Miteq and other make for C and KU band for corrective action as and when any abnormality is observed. The process is done by switching the on line unit to back up.

    o         Back up and switchover unit provided with 2 source supply to keep the reliability.

    o         Daily recording of measurable parameter with the help of operational staff, to know the health of equipments and preventive maintenance carried out based on any abnormality before the breakdown occurs.

    o         Up-check of units exhaust fans for their smooth operation to avoid any failure due to failure of fan and replacement of same when ever found the air exhaust drops.

     

    Modulator & Demodulators

     

    o         Routine check and preventive and corrective maintenance of Modulators/Demodulators of NEC, ITI and other makes to ascertain 99.99% availability of equipment.

    o         Recording of measurable parameters to know the health of equipment for any immediate attention required.

     

    Broadcast T.V. Encoders, Decoders and MCPC Mux

     

    ·          Routine check up of equipment by recording the measurable parameters and diagnosing the fault for attention for T.V. broadcast encoders, decoders, of Scopus, Tandberg and other make .

    ·          Redundant equipments are always kept ready to avoid any outage due to failure of main equipments.

    ·          On simultaneous failure of 2 services the service with high priority gets restored and other units attended with available spares.

    ·          RCU of MCPC Multiplexer.

    ·          Constant Vigil on working of MCPC platform through NMS control.

     

    TVRO Antenna

     

    ·          Installation and commissioning of TVRO antennas. Monitoring the quality of transmitted signal through downlink TVRO antenna.

    ·          Up keeping of  TVRO LNBC system.

    ·          Manual Pointing of TVRO Antenna to receive the signal from different satellites as per the requirement.

     

    DSNG Terminal

     

    ·          Operation and Maintenance of DSNG Terminal.

    ·          Tracking and pointing the Terminal Antenna to required satellite for LIVE Feed.

    ·          The availability of redundant equipments to maintain 99.99 % SLA.

    ·          On the spot fault attention to avoid crisis due to redundant failure.

     

    OBVAN           

    ·          Operation and maintenance of C and KU band OBVAN.

    ·          Up keeping of OBAN equipments, encoders, modulators, up-converters, SSPAs, antenna tracking system availability to 99.99% for LIVE Feed.

    ·          Support systems availability to 99.99% such as power, Air-conditioning system
