    October 2007 (10 months)             Thesis: sizing of necessary subsystems to realize      

    missions towards Plutone, Europa ( a Jupiter’s satellite) and a star 40 light years far. Those missions are analysed with four propulsion approaches: thermochemical, nuclear-electric ( with a propeller like  VASIMR in flight configuration), an ibrid solution and an antimatter solution. Also different kinds of conversion of thermic energy in electric power inside a nuclear reactor are investigated.

     

    March 2007 (4 months)                   Design and test of a control system for an elastic inverted pendulum.

     

    January 2006 ( 6 months)               Simulation of the attitude dynamics of a sun-synchronous satellite under the effect of disturbances and design of a three-axis stabilizing control system.

     

    March 2004 (6 moths)                     Team workshop: preliminary design of a mission towards Mars with the objective of propellent production in situ. Spacecrafts have to carry all materials and structures from Earth with two launches.

     

    June 2003 (6 moths)                        Preliminary design of an airliner.
