Key Activities:

Completion of final year project: Launching a constellation of CubeSats into a Low Earth Orbit
This project comprised of 3 topics; detailed review of launch services, launch vehicles and the design of a satellite constellation of CubeSats orbiting the Earth using Matlab software. The research I found on launch service providers is presented on the Clyde Space website (www.clyde-space.com/spacepedia/launch_service_providers). My final report detailed all of my findings including an explanation of the code I designed with different analogies for various uses of the data that the constellation collected.

Technical Advisor for Undergraduate Management students
Appointed by the CEO for this role as I had solid technical knowledge on the concept. The student team had to devise a business plan for their chosen type of data collection by means of a satellite constellation orbiting the Earth. I took a leading role in meetings and corresponded via email and through one-to-one conversations with members of the team briefing them on the concept of satellite constellations and different patterns relating to different needs.

I love playing the violin and attained Grade 5 in this instrument while playing with a local orchestra.

Keeping fit is important to me and visit the gym regularly. While at University I was a member of the Athletics team competing in various competitions.

The main sporting activity I enjoy is hockey. I have been a member of Hillhead Hockey Club for the past 4 years and I have taken on key responsibilities to assist the operation of the club’s activities. This included the role of Match Secretary for my team which involves communication with all team members and the opposition contacts to confirm arrangements for each week’s match.

I enjoy a very active social life and I am happy spending time socialising with family and friends, in a variety of ways
