The results of such a joint work will land on the Moon together with the Czech flag. The flag is a symbol representing the fact that countries from central and eastern Europe can do great missions and be part of the Space First League.

YOU ARE INTERESTED IN: “What are you working on right now?”

We’re a Czech company that supplies satellites and space probes. We design, produce, and assemble them precisely according to the demands of our customers from Europe, Africa, Asia, and Central and Southern America. We work on two EO satellites and one Moon probe. We have in development a smart hyperspectral camera, Lidar technology and a microgravity space laboratory. We know how to use state of the art technologies such as additive manufacturing and we integrate these technologies into our products. And that is just a small example of what we do!

YOU WANT TO KNOW: “What would my job look like?”

You develop and implement control, guidance and navigation algorithms for satellite missions both on Earth orbit and beyond;
You test the algorithms up to flight qualification;
You perform GNC concept design, FDIR, mission design and planning;
You support other activities and projects in the field of GNC/AOCS;
You participate in and contribute to technical discussions;
You interact with other Subsystems, System Engineers and Manufacturing teams for the development and sustaining of new and current products.

YOU FIGURE: “What do we expect from you?

A Bachelor or higher engineering degree, in any relevant area such as aerospace engineering, electronic engineering, computer science or automation;
At least three years of working experience in the AOCS/GNC or relevant field;
Knowledge of spacecraft subsystems and space environment;
Proficiency in use of Matlab/Simulink;
Knowledge of AOCS sensors and actuators, Navigation techniques and Control theory;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Proactive attitude and ability to work in a team;
Knowledge of C/C++ is an asset;
Experience in SW and/or HW testing is an asset;
Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively;
Ability to prepare technical documentation and reports;
Ability to manage relationships between the technical team and the customer as well as good communication skills;
Fluent English;
Passion for Space;
Willingness to travel;
Courage to accept responsibility and make decisions;
Working from Brno´s office;

Nice to have:

Knowledge in the field of flight dynamics, orbital mechanics;
Experience in mission analysis, related to low-Earth orbit and constellations and/or Moon missions;
Experience with STK, or equivalent tools (e.g., GMAT, FreeFlyer).
