Heavens-Above GmbH builds quality software products for the space industry.
We primarily target ground operations: our software displays live telemetry in mission control rooms. We support manned and unmanned missions during launch, commissioning and maintenance phases. In particular, our software is used to monitor data from the International Space Station, and we are now in the early stages of planning to support of the Lunar Gateway, which will be the first space station beyond low Earth orbit.
We additionally host one of the longest running websites dedicated to satellite predictions and amateur astronomy (heavens-above.com).

We aim to be pragmatic in choosing technologies for new projects and expect team members to be involved in the selection and evaluation of such technologies.
Experience in any of the above would be beneficial, but is not a hard requirement. We welcome applications from less experienced candidates who are eager to learn.
Due to the security requirements of our main customer, this position is only open to citizens of a NATO or European Union member country.
