    We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic graduate to work in our offices in Darmstadt, Germany.  Looking to someone with an IT background to work in a software development role, ideally with a science background and interest in the space industry,

     

    The position would involve working in the following areas:-

     

    ·         Development of Mission Control System Software

    ·         Analysis and Design of Software Change Requests (SCR’s);

    ·         Investigation of problems reported by the users (SPR’s);

    ·         Producing software patches and new releases;

    ·         Testing and validating of patches and new releases of the System

    ·         Installation and support of the Operational MCS systems.

    ·         Provide occasional on-call support to the missions during critical phases;

     

    Essential requirements:

    ·        A university degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.

    ·        Experience in C++ and/or Java

    ·        Fluency in English

     

    Desirable skills:

     

    ·        An interest in the Space industry

     

    Other information e.g. dual location, special security clearance, foreign languages:

    ·        Fluency in written and spoken English (mandatory)

    ·        Must be an EU National or possess a valid German Work Permit
