Role:

Two Senior candidates are being sought for positions in the Clients Space System group. They will be working in a commercial and programme management environment, contributing to the success of new bids and programme implementation. The 2 positions will have a strong technical content and will be advising and contributing to various stages of the Business cycle.

One position will be at the front end of the business supporting new bids and proposals, and the other will be at the back end for implementation and Programme Management. During time, these 2 positions will become interchangeable.

Both positions will require candidates with a similar profile and experience.

 The candidates must have:

• Proven track record in the Space Geo-communications area,
• Have been responsible for communications payload and systems design/ management.
• Hands on experience in assembly integration & test (AIT) of complete payloads and/or satellites

 A current knowledge of the state of the industry and procurement practices with respect to the supply chain is valuable.

 Team leadership abilities are very important, being able to manage, motivate and lead  a program and/or functional teams of highly experienced systems engineers.

Other attributes of interest are a background in small sat technologies or radar systems implementation, and knowledge of digital payloads.

University degree. or the equivalent in an Engineering Discipline. Masters preferred.
