• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to develop state-of-the-art spacecraft communication antennas or subsystems.
•  Be part of a design team or assume a supervisory role to ensure MDA space products to meet the thermal environment requirements.
• Perform thermal design; predict temperature distribution and heat loads; supervise the fabrication of thermal control hardware; and conduct thermal environment tests on hardware.
• Plan thermal tests and create test and analysis reports.

 Profile:

Candidates must have in-depth knowledge of thermal radiation, numerical thermal analysis and thermal vacuum testing.

 Proficiency of the FEM pre/post processor FEMAP and a numerical thermal solver, TMG, and knowledge of electronic packaging are definitive assets.

Candidates should have five to ten year experience in the field of thermal design and analysis in space industry and are expected to be self driven and highly motive.

University Degree or the equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
