    Scientists, Engineers and Technical Support Staff to be based at the European Space Agency, Noordwijk, the Netherlands

    Serco is a preferred supplier of staff and services to:

    • The European Space Agency
    • The European Patent Office
    • The Joint Research Centre of the European Commission

     

    Overview:

     

    Serco is seeking to locate, with a view to future employment, highly motivated and enthusiastic Scientists, Engineers and Technical staff who have experience in the Galileo or similar projects. You will be an expert in your field with in depth knowledge of  one or more of the following areas:

     

    ·         RF and digital equipments and sub-systems for Communication

    ·         Payload Engineering (Microwave, Digital & Navigation)

    ·         RF Remote Sensing Instruments

    ·         Microwave Engineering

    ·         Preparation, management support and evolution of activities for navigation satellites

    ·         Payload system and interfaces engineering

    ·         Design, simulation, manufacturing and testing of payloads and payloads equipment

    ·         Quality and Produce assurance, Hardware or Software

    ·         Spacecraft Operations

    ·         Documentation (DMS), Data Handling

    ·         Project and budget  Control and Management

     

    We would be extremely interested if you have been involved with ENSS, EGNOS, GPS, GLONASS

     

    Qualifications and Requirements:

     

    Scientist and Engineering applicants require a Masters or PhD degree in one of the following areas Physics/Science/Telecom/Microwave/RF/Electrical/Electromagnetics related studies together with previous experience in the Space industry

     

    Technicians and Administrative staff require a BA/BSc in a related study and several years experience in similar areas of work

     

    Applicants must hold the correct documentation and permits to work in the EU or be an EU citizen
