Communications Software Designer

Are you looking for a new and interesting activity in an outstanding project in the area of software design and development for a robot vehicle? This could be your field of responsibility:

·         Participation in conception, design, integration and test of the communication software for a robotic system.

·         Generation of related documentation

·         Presentation of achieved results

Your profile requires

·         a scientific or technical degree,

·         experience in the area of software development (C or C++) under Linux

·         experience in the area of communications software development (TCP/IP based, sockets, routing, load balancing, QOS and fault-tolerant protocols)

·         German and English language skills,

·         readiness to take on responsibility, team spirit and communication capability,

·         permission to work in the European Union.

In addition the following experiences are considered as an asset

·         real-time operating systems

·         application related communication protocols

·         publish/subscribe middleware (e.g. Data Distribution Service, DDS)
