    Job Description

    HE Space Operations is a steadily growing international space company. For over 20 years we have provided our customers with consultancy services in Engineering, Science and Business Administration. We open the door to working directly on-site with our principal customers in the space sector who rank among the top 25 engineering employers in Europe: EADS and the European Space Agency.

    Activities:
    You will be working for a major European space company in the business division "Telecommunicatio Programmes Germany". In your role as Systems Engineer with focus on antennas you will be responsible for the payload of telecommunication satellites. This involves for the following activities:

    • - Support and monitoring of integration and test activities 
    • - Analysis of test results
    • - Support to payload systems analysis (End-to-end performance) in UHF and
        SHF frequency area
    • - Review of technical documentations of subcontractors
    • - Support to project reviews
    • - Development of technical documentation 
    • - Support to project leader concerning the technical and organisational
        management of subcontractors
    • - Coordination of payload activities with satellite subcontractors  
        

    Skills:
    You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

    • - University degree in telecommunication engineering or any relevant subject
    • - Several years of experience in satellite communication systems, especially
        for UHF and SHF communication antennas
    • - Profound knowledge in high frequency technology and satellite
        communication
    • - Ability to work in a team environment
    • - Fluency in German and English language is mandatory, knowledge of French
        language is advantageous
