    Background:
     
    The ACRA Business Unit of Curtiss-Wright Controls Avionics & Electronics is an industry leader in the area of aerospace data acquisition systems. Curtiss-Wright is a global leader in the design, manufacturing, service and integration of equipment for defence, aerospace, naval and industrial applications. 
     
     
    Position Overview:
     
    A new opportunity for an experienced Program Manager has arisen within the Space Engineering team at ACRA. The ideal candidate is an experienced project/program manager with a proven track record in management and end-to-end delivery of technical programs. He/she needs to be able to take on the full responsibility for leading a multi-disciplinary team towards successful completion of a program. He/she will work under minimal supervision and assume responsibility for day-to-day management of all relevant program activities.
     
     
    Responsibilities:
     
    ¤  The full ownership of assigned programs.
     
    ¤  Acts as a single point of contact for assigned programs.
     
    ¤  Reviews program requirements and plans program implementation accordingly.
     
    ¤  Develops, monitors and maintains program schedule.
     
    ¤  Develops, monitors and maintains program risk register.
     
    ¤  Controls program cost.
     
    ¤  Establishes and maintains effective relations with relevant individuals and groups to achieve desired results.
     
    ¤  Works closely with technical teams developing and manufacturing program deliverables.
     
    ¤  Provides regular reporting of progress on assigned programs.
     
    ¤  Prepares and leads internal and external program reviews.
     
    ¤  Adheres to program management best practices.
     
     
    Requirements:
     
    ¤  University degree in Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or other relevant discipline.
     
    ¤  5+ years of relevant experience with a proven track record in management of technical projects/programs, preferably in product development.
     
    ¤  Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
     
    ¤  Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
     
    ¤  Fluent English; both spoken and written.
     
    ¤  PMP certification or equivalent is desirable.
     
    ¤  Relevant experience in space/aerospace industry is desirable.
