Configuration Control Manager
Job Description
The activities of the position include:
· Coordinate the configuration management functions
· Implement configuration processes
· Liaison with subcontractors’ configuration control managers
· Provide a single point of responsibility and authority for Configuration Management
· Assure that As-Built Configuration is documented and verified at acceptance
· Establish configuration status accounting, providing at any time items configuration status
· Provide contribution to reviews and data packages
· Define, implement and maintain configuration management structures and tools
· Establish and maintain a drawing administration
· Support preparation of review data packages and end item data packages
· Maintain Configuration Control
· Coordinate and control the implementation
· Participate to and support progress meetings, reviews and delivery boards
SKILLS:
University degree in informatics, space technology or another relevant discipline together with proven, several years of experience in configuration control of large space projects:
• Experience in application of relevant configuration control software
• Experience in generating configuration control documentation using MS Office,
• Knowledge of configuration control related standards,
• Knowledge of change and configuration management fundamentals and principles,
Fluency in English is mandatory and a working knowledge of Italian and German would be an advantage.
CONTRACT TYPE: Limited contract for 4 years
