    SSBV is a technology driven organisation, active in the domains of: (aero)Space, Remote Sensing & Monitoring, Defense & Security and the development of High-Tech Systems.

    To expand our existing test team of SSBV Space & Ground System NL (location Noordwijk, the Netherlands) we are looking for a RF Test Engineer

     Activities and responsibilties:

     The activities and responsiblities of the RF Test Engineer will include:

    • Primary responsibility to develop, sustain and improve the electrical testing of the RF related products, such as data communication modems and frequency converters.
    • Development of necessary documentation (test procedures, descriptions,  test plans, reports and requirement traceability)
    • Supporting system & qualification towards the internal teams & customers

    Skills:

     You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

    • Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or simulator technical area
    • Experience in RF Testing for space projects, especially with respect to Electrical Ground Support Equipment is an advantage.
    • Hands-on experience with operation and programming of standard test bench (RF) lab equipment, such as Network Analysers, Spectrum Analysers, Signal Generators and Oscilloscopes.
    • Knowledge about modulation and signal coding methods.
    • Proficiency in MS office tools and  MATLAB or similar tools
    • You are creative, motivated and result-oriented and can communicate effectively in an international team.
    • Fluent languages: English
