A prototype module for a private space station has passed an orbital milestone after completing its 10,000th trip around the Earth.

    This is an exciting role for an experienced Engineering Manager to work in Europe's largest and most successful developer of space technology.

    The position requires management of a multi-disciplinary ground systems engineering team and also demands considerable interaction with external customers, co-contractors and sub-contractors.

    The position requires candidates with a background in satellite and mission control systems with the ability to develop and deliver strategic business objectives in parallel with a strong operational performance on existing programs.

    In order to deal with all aspects of the Ground Systems he/she shall have a good knowledge and experience in some or all of the following:

    design of satellite control systems
    management of subcontractors developing ground segment elements
    development of software-intensive systems
    integration and test of ground-based systems, satellite operations
