    Job Description

    Tasks:

    ·        Control the spacecraft during Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP) under the supervision of the Spacecraft Operations Manager and Engineers

    ·        Control the spacecraft during routine operations using Flight Procedures

    ·        Provide permanent manning of the spacecraft control centre according to a shift plan

    ·        Support ground systems tests and System Validation Test (SVT) campaigns before launch

    ·        Support the Spacecraft Analyst in other tasks related to the spacecraft database and control systems

     

    Essential requirements:

    ·        Solid technical background in a relevant field (e.g. physics, electronics, computer, aerospace, telecommunications engineering)

    ·        Experience with both UNIX and Windows operating systems

    ·        Able to work calmly and correctly under stressful operational conditions.

    ·        Good analytical skills.

     

    Desirable skills:

    ·        Previous spacecraft operations experience

    ·        Knowledge of database systems

    ·        Ability to work autonomously

     

    Other information e.g. dual location, special security clearance, foreign languages:

    Fluency in English (mandatory)

    Candidate must be EU Citizen or have valid working permit to work in Germany

    Position would involve shift work
