We are looking for Document Management Administrator to support the Directorate of Human Spaceflight Microgravity and Exploration (HME) at ESTEC. The work will involve maintaining a walk-in service desk, maintaining a document library specific to the needs of the HME Directorate, reproduction services, and other Customer focused documentation services.
In addition, the candidate shall support the document entry process. The directorate has a large constant flow of documents that need to be manually inserted into the Documentation Management System. A future responsibility will also be to support the document review process of projects.
The candidate will have to interface (apart from the walk-in service) with HME Projects, Configuration Engineers and with NASA, other National Space Agencies and Industrial Contractors.
Specific tasks include:
• Establish and run a Documentation Management Service Center that supports a walk-in environment.
• Maintain a small document library consisting of a set of documents of relevance to HME.
• Provide reproduction services
• Support the document registration, distribution and archiving. The Contractor shall regularly review the status of documents in the different project/department archives and where appropriate register this information in the DMS database.
• Support to project reviews
• Support users for retrieving documents
• out of the Documentation Management System
• out of paper archives
• Provide paper copies of electronic documents on request
• Create electronic versions of documents
• Manage original files
The candidate shall assist in the refinement of the document management processes and tools in HME and its future improvements.
