1. Act as a team leader for the ILS Engineering Team, the Logistic Support Team and the ILS Tools Support Team working on site in ESOC.
2. Ensure the provision of Integrated Logistic Support services to ESTRACK elements 1 and 2 as described in chapter 1
3. Resource planning and guidance of involved team members in coordination with the Agency’s Domain Officer for any requested or upcoming activity beyond the baseline service provision.

Service Description:
|
|
- Issue, with concurrence by the Agency’s Domain Officer, directives to the Contractor staff assigned to ILS work packages, addressing the planning, scheduling, execution, documentation, and quality control of their tasks
- Prepare, establish, and maintain, in concurrence with the approval of the Agency’s Domain Officer, procedures internal to the Ground Facilities Operations Division (OPS-ON) for the execution of document management, logistic support, inventory control, stock management and the provision of ILS Tools support.
- Identify, arrange for, monitor and control any specific services required by the Agency
- Co-ordinate and supervise all services provided in the context of work packages WP 4xxx
- Establish, in co-operation with the Agency‘s responsible Domain Officer, a reimbursable budget for the procurement of low value items in accordance with chapter 5.5.2.
- Maintain a day-by-day working level interface with the Agency’s Domain Officer(s) nominated for work packages WP 4xxx
- Keep track of all Support Requests addressed to the ILS Team and ensure these are responded to concisely and in time
- Ensure a proper reporting scheme for work packages WP 4xxx is established and maintained, and all reports required by the Agency are produced regularly and timely
- Suggest to the Agency’s Domain Officer(s) potential improvements of all ILS related matters
- Ensure that all the documents are made available to the operational community via D/OPS Document Management System (DMS)

Service Coverage:
|
|
Part time
This service shall be provided during ESOC normal office hours but service interruptions due to scheduled absence (leave) are accepted.
Driven by operational needs, typically during critical mission phases, service coverage may be complemented by overtime

Specific Task Requirements:
|
|
§ University degree in engineering or similar domain identical or higher to the B.Sc., Technicien Supérieur, or Fachhochschulingenieur (Dipl.-Ing.(FH))
§ A minimum of six years of experience as a qualified engineer in the fields of his domain in the fields of Integrated Logistic Support Engineering including experience in a supervisory function for the Logistic Support Team and the ILS Tools Support Team.
- Fluency in speaking, reading and writing English; working level knowledge of German and French would be useful.
