    • -Supported and interacted with customers on multiple missions for the National Reconnaissance Office, US Air Force and NASA.  Successfully changed many engineering designs to meet specific mission requirements which supported U.S. national security.
    • -Successfully designed the structures of the new cooling system for Rocket Delta IV in Payload Fairing for US Air Force.  Performed and coordinated with stress analysis team, produced high quality drawings for production; coordinated with suppliers, procurement departments & achieved company’s goal of “100% mission success.”
    • -Tracked vehicle changes and update models and drawings properly; Performed design/analysis tasks as needed; Hands-on experience.

     

     Systems Engineer – Mass Properties Specialist - Atlas V  Rockets

    • -Modeled and integrated the mass properties of the entire Atlas V Launch Vehicle for the Flight Design Department using Pro/E and MPRDB.  Supported multiple missions, such as GPS, Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO), Pluto New Horizon, STP-1 Mission, Astra-1KR Missions, and modeled the new design of Frangible Join Separation System.
    • -Created and maintained Mass Properties in databases according to Design Engineering Changes in Pro/E for many launch vehicles and alternated configuration.  Reviewed and validated mass properties reports. Monitored final mass properties measurement tests. Review test plans and validate test results including independent data reduction.
    • -Supplied and make available information to customer’s sub-systems, such as Dynamics, Propulsion, Structures, Trajectory-Guidance and Navigation Control departments.   Supported improvement of the Flight Design Engineering Process/Development. Execute analyses to verify center of gravity, moment and product of inertia of systems, subsystems, and vehicles. Track vehicle weight growth and technical performance measurements.
    • -Supported ICO-G1 Mission as a Mission Design Engineer. Performed launch vehicle integration functional analysis at many levels of total system product including: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.  Ensured the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total system solution that satisfied technical and schedule constrains.  Effectively performed technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation.
