I am working on ESA Earth Observation projects since Jan 2009 and I have a valid work permit for Germany. I have more than four years of prior work experience, as a software engineer, with IEA Data Processing and Research Center, (Hamburg), with Cisco Offshore Development Center (CODC- HCL Technologies, India), and as Software Quality Assurance (QA) engineer at D.E.Shaw India Software Private Ltd. (India). During this period, I have been exposed to C, Java programming – Core and Web based and also completed Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. Title: Customization of Eclipse IDE to support Domain Specific Languages (DSLs)
Description: This Master thesis aims at embedding a DSL in Java. Use of powerful and mature IDE like Eclipse, make creation, usage and maintenance of DSLs easier as the Java editor provide features like auto-complete, debugging etc. Java Persistence Query Language (JPQL) is embedded in Java as an internal DSL to make the syntactic and semantic meaning of the query transparent to the programming language (similar to LINQ for .NET languages like C#, VB). I had co-authored a technical article “Rethinking the Architecture of O/R Mapping for EMF in terms of LINQ”
