I've worked on a project involving the following companies: National Instruments, the European Space Agency and Telespazio S.p.A. The objective of the activity has been the implementation of a Virtual Time Scale with LabVIEW, in order to realize a local UTC(k) reference clock which could constitute the “System Time” for a constellation of satellites for navigation (such as GPS or in future GALILEO). The activity relies on the infrastructure of the European Space Research and Technology Centre (Noordwijk, NL). |

Social skills and competences
I have been working in different teams along my experience. During my academic career I’ve prepared several exams within teams composed by at least three students and now I am working inside projects involving more than 5 persons. In each of these experiences I have always demonstrated a good adaptability and a discrete problem solving attitude. Since I was 8 years old, I have been playing football in teams involved in local amateur leagues. |
Organisational skills and competences
Good ability in the management of people and projects. I am currently working on projects involving top-level companies that require a daily interaction and coordination with Project Managers and high-level technical experts. |
Technical skills and competences . |
Discrete expertise in Matlab (derived from more than 7 years of use). Discrete expertise in LabVIEW (I have attended the training courses CORE 1 and CORE 2 in National instruments). Competent with Scilab. Competent with most of Microsoft Office software. Good knowledge of WinProp (a software tool used in Propagation analysis and Radio Network planning). Some experiences with C++, PSPice, Microwave Office and STK (Satellite Tool Kit). Basic knowledge in the design and management of data base. Basic knowledge of DOORS and Linux-Ubuntu. |

Additional information |
1. On October 2007, I participated at the 9th ICEUM (International Conference on Exploration and Utilisation of the Moon) that took place in Sorrento(Italy). During that conference I presented a paper entitled “Remote Sensing of the Moon sub-surface from a spaceborne microwave radiometer aboard the European Student Moon Orbiter”. This paper summarizes the work done by the MiWaRS team during the phase A of the ESMO mission. 2. On March 2010, I participated as representative of MiWaRS team at the "System Requirements Review of ESMO mission", that took place at the European Space Agency (ESA/ESTEC) in The Netherlands (March 22-26, 2010).
